Safe and Comfortable Accommodation

• We provide secure, fully furnished properties where individuals can live independently with tailored support when needed.
• All deposits, utilities setup, and any initial move-in costs (including removals) are covered, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Residents are encouraged to personalise their living spaces, creating a home that reflects their individuality and dignity.
• Each tenant signs a License Agreement with New Direction New Life CIC, giving peace of mind and clarity of rights and responsibilities.
• When the time comes to move on, our team provides practical and emotional support to help with the next step toward independent living.

Practical and Everyday Support

We understand that stability comes from more than just housing. Our wrap-around practical support includes:

• A Welcome Pack on arrival containing food essentials, cleaning products, and basic toiletries.
• Payment of key utilities such as water rates and television licence, removing unnecessary stress for new residents.
• Installation of a landline with incoming calls enabled, along with restricted outgoing access for safety and connection.
• Provision of home safety equipment such as smoke alarms, a first aid kit, and regular safety checks.
• Weekly Health & Safety inspections by New Direction New Life CIC staff to ensure comfort and prompt maintenance.
• Annual gas safety checks, arranged at a convenient time for all parties.
• Gift vouchers at Christmas and birthdays as a token of community care and encouragement.
• Hands-on help with household tasks, shopping, and budgeting to support everyday independence.
• Life skills and financial management training to build confidence and ensure long-term self-sufficiency.
